Work Plan
CAMP is implementing a three-year plan to solidify the agency and lay the foundation for future growth. In 2009, we focused on stabilizing the organization and meeting compliance requirements. The Board of Directors received specialized training and additional board members were appointed to ensure the Board’s alignment with Federal laws. CAMP’s Board of Directors currently holds representatives from the Mayor’s office, Seattle City Council, King County Council, the Governor’s Office, the state legislature, and long-time local residents and community leaders who live and work with the low-income community. The Board worked closely with the Executive Director to set strategy for the agency.
2010 marked the second year of the three-year plan to transform and modernize our delivery of essential social services. We conducted a rigorous analysis of internal processes, optimized procedures used to deliver services, and implemented policies to positively impact the overall agency culture. We completed a Community Needs Assessment survey to measure the effectiveness of our program offerings, identify service gaps, and assess future needs. In addition, we completed a strategic plan to assess our core competencies, define our position in the community, and chart new growth areas.
In 2011, CAMP will grow the agency by adding programs to help clients achieve stability and self-sufficiency while continuing to provide basic services.
