Housing Assistance

Homelessness is a devastating experience for families. It disrupts virtually every aspect of family life, damaging the physical and emotional health of family members and interfering with children's education and development

The Housing Assistance programs at CAMP provide housing assistance to reduce the impact of homelessness and poverty in families. With the following programs, families can make a successful transition from homelessness to an affordable and stable home, and be on course to self-sufficiency.

First Month’s Rent
Seattle families settling into a new home may need assistance with the high costs of moving into a permanent home. This program removes cost barriers, in order to help families move into a safe stable residence, by providing half of the first month’s rent.

Motel Vouchers
This program assists homeless families in Seattle looking for a permanent home.  A motel voucher for up to seven days is granted, to help families with short-term housing while looking for a permanent home.
