| Homelessness is a devastating experience for families. It disrupts virtually every aspect of family life, damaging the physical and emotional health of family members and interfering with children's education and development | | The Housing Assistance programs at CAMP provide housing assistance to reduce the impact of homelessness and poverty in families. With the following programs, families can make a successful transition from homelessness to an affordable and stable home, and be on course to self-sufficiency. First Month’s Rent Seattle families settling into a new home may need assistance with the high costs of moving into a permanent home. This program removes cost barriers, in order to help families move into a safe stable residence, by providing half of the first month’s rent. Motel Vouchers This program assists homeless families in Seattle looking for a permanent home. A motel voucher for up to seven days is granted, to help families with short-term housing while looking for a permanent home. Frequently Asked Questions - Who is eligible?
