From now until April 17th you can prepare your own individual or joint tax return using the top tax software with the help of a certified volunteer. If you have a W-2 (wages) or received SSI, unemployment benefits, or interest and dividends and received less than $57,000 in 2011, you may be eligible.
With CAMP’s Financial Literacy Program, you can learn about budgeting, credit, and money management to gain self-sufficiency and stretch your dollars further. Eligible clients may earn debt repayment assistance through successful completion of the program.
CAMP’s LIHEAP program is now open to Puget Sound Energy and Seattle City Light clients, and those with other heat sources who live within Seattle city limits. Clients with heating costs included in their rent may apply after March 19, 2012. Call (800) 348-7144 to schedule an appointment.
